Acupuncture Lowers Hypertension
Acupuncture successfully lowers blood pressure in patients with hypertension. Researchers conducted a randomized, controlled clinical trial of 120 patients. Groups 1 and 2 received medications, but group 1 also received acupuncture in addition to usual care. The group receiving acupuncture had significantly lower blood pressure.
